Where do I even begin with this day?
The white cowboy boots, just like her mom wore on her wedding day. The five-tiered cake, secretly a brownie, lovingly baked and transported from Minnesota by one of her best friends. The hand-crafted RIENSCHE sign hanging over their reception space. Homemade strawberry jam. Beef and honey from her family farm. The coolest teal goblets on the head-table that Grace scoured practically every target in Ohio to get enough of. There was no part of this day at Country Lane Lodge that wasn't dripping with intentionality. Months of planning. And Grace's effortless style.
But what struck me most of all, above all the gorgeous blooms by Rose Farms and the immaculate details - was just how completely in love Grace and Hans are. This day was about two people entirely smitten by one another with their families cheering full-on from the sidelines. Weddings don't get better than this.
Congratulations to the new Mrs. & Mr. Riensche!
Grace and Hans chose to get married at the church they attended together during their days at Iowa State. The beautiful Memorial Lutheran Church is situated perfectly in the middle of campus, so we had a chance to get a few fun photos at their alma mater before their ceremony began.
