As a bride, Jamie radiated classic elegance. From the moment I saw her dress, hanging neatly in its bag, lovingly delivered to White Eagle Golf Club by her mother, I was smitten. Her white and cream florals paired perfectly with lush greenery, and a beautiful, slightly hazy, warm June afternoon. Jamie and Chris's wedding day was the perfect celebration.
Their ceremony was set on a hill overlooking the golf course and a stunning water feature in the background. A mature tree cast the perfect amount of shade, and a touch of lingering wildfire smoke added a gauziness to the view - an unfortunate reality, but also a touch of magic.
Chris has lived everywhere from Michigan to India and now works in Hawaii. He and Jamie have been engaged long distance for the past year, and now, finally, as his new bride, she'll be moving to Hawaii to be by his side for the next few years of his time there. It was amazing to see people gathered from all over the country to celebrate Jamie and Chris's big day! Over and over again guests told me how Jamie is the kindest person they know. How she deserves the world. And it looks to me like she's found that in Chris.
