A little dog, a bustling brewery, a sun-soaked rooftop, and a sunset walk through Boom Island Park made this engagement session a whirlwind of precious moments, gorgeous scenery, and plenty of laughter.
Trying to squeeze three urban locations into 90 minutes is no small feat, but these two were up for the challenge. We started out at Inbound BrewCo, where I met Daisy and instantly fell in love. She's the sweetest little terrier mix - I've never had a dog at a session that was this mellow. She was just going with the flow and rocking her custom bandanna. Six rounds of applause for Daisy please.
I *love* the warm tones in these and the bokeh of the cafe lights behind them.
On a Saturday evening, the taproom was crowded and full of energy, so we made our way outside to get some shots along the striking exterior wall.
Kelsey's ring is this stunning celestial gray diamond. I was OBSESSED.
Next, it was off to the Hewing Hotel. Their friend Megan stayed in the car with Daisy while the three of us ran up to catch the evening light. The hot tub on the hotel roof was giving us the most amazing steamy glow. I wish we could have spent a whole hour up there. Can you believe we got all of these shots in a quick 10 minutes?
And finally, to the park.
Gah. That look.
