Amber and Scott are two of the sweetest human beings I've had the privilege of working with. From the time I first met them and their rescued basset hound, Doc, I knew they were my kind of people. When I arrived at the Nicollett Island Inn on the morning of their wedding, everything was calm. There was anticipation in the air, but none of the frantic scurrying-around that approaching ceremonies so often induce.
Amber had a huge smile on her face as she unwrapped a series of the most thoughtful gifts that Scott had delivered to her throughout the morning. He painstakingly handmade a scrapbook detailing the highlights of their relationship, bound in leather, and titled "Our Adventure Book." Does it get any cuter than that?
Amber wore a stunningly minimal dress, paired with drop earrings and her grandmothers' pearls.

Amber and Scott wrote letters with personal vows to one another that they read in the quiet moments before the ceremony.
The plum bridesmaids' dresses paired perfectly with the historic inn setting and the crisp November air. All three of these ladies were stunning.
And we can't forget about the gentlemen.
Scott (along with the rest of us), cried as he watched his bride walk down the aisle. One of their best friends officiated the ceremony - It was the perfect combination of tears, laughter, and sincerity as Amber and Scott promised their lives to one another in front of all their favorite people. Not to mention the stunning floral backdrop.
And they're married!
And last but not least - the party. There were more tears, more laughter, and more rocking dance moves than that room could handle. Amber and Scott danced the night away with all of their favorite people.
